SoundGuy:
We'd love to hear your feedback about Star Shipping Inc.

Jude:
I tried posting this as a comment on your news site about Star Shipping, but it wouldn't post:

There seems to be a bug (in the Mac version, at least) because when I start a new game, it does not remember which ship and upgrades I had purchased the last time, but it only gives me the Space Chips that I earned from the last game.

For example, in the very first game, I get 20 Chips to rent a ship, so I use 10 to buy a Moth, and 10 more to upgrade my cargo space.  I finish the game with 7000 or so points, so I get 7 more Chips.  But when I start a new game, I have ONLY 7 Chips, not the Moth with the upgrade, and I can only afford to rent the Sparrow now with no upgrades.

Do you see the problem?  Either the game should remember what you had when you finished the last game (ships, upgrades, and chips) or it should give you the equivalent amount of chips back to cover the worth of your ship, upgrades, and chips.

Also, it would be nice to have a way to have different user profiles, so that if someone else in my house decides to play, they won't be using my ship (assuming you fix the problem I described above, that is!).

Hey Jude,

First thanks for buying the game. Your patronship, feedback,  and support of our product is what keeps us going.
We've been getting some feedback from users regarding a lot of aspects of the game, one of the is the chip/progress system.
We will be doing a lot of thinking how to improve it and make the game more enjoyable on each platform.
I will see about opening up some discussion in our forums, and facebook page about it and see what players thing.

As for different user profiles - Have you checked what happens when you play the game from a different mac user? does it save the same ship?
I will add that to the feature request lists for future versions.

Regarding system requirement - i posted in InsideMacGames.com , i honestly have no idea how to define min requirements. If someone with an older mac wants to try it out and see if it works i'll be happy to give out a few free copies for that cause. I assume it should work on most OSX computers from the last few years, but i might be wrong.
